Failed writer Jasper Fizzle has committed the desperate crime of stealing artifacts and creatures from the Land of Oz and bringing them to the mortal world. Now he and his teenage son, Frank, are on the run from the enforcers of the Official Oz Society in their traveling Oz museum. But unbeknownst to the Fizzles, otherworldly forces are appearing in the mortal world, drawn by the stolen magic in the Oz caravan. While Jasper is busy being museum curator and Oz historian, Frank and his new best friend Zik the winged monkey wander right into the path of danger!
